Our store is small ish. We only have one register. The second drawer is literally two feet away from the register and it takes maybe 5 seconds to get extra ones out of that drawer. This was a REAL conversation between my manager and a customer on the evening of Christmas day when my manager was getting ones out of the drawer. I only heard about it after the fact but I wish I had been able to see it.

The best part was that the lady’s son was standing behind her laughing at what my manager said to her.

One thing my manager didn’t say but wanted to was “You don’t think WE’RE tired?! We’re working on CHRISTMAS.”

i work at dollar tree. our baskets are against the front wall, right by where customers have to walk to leave the store. instead of putting the basket back where they found it they either:

• push it off to the side.
• push it up into the entrance
• create an entirely new storage spot
• push it right by the baskets but not pushed back into a row

during every rush i have to listen to people bitch about how messy our lobby is and then after i have to try to get all the baskets put away before someone else comes to my register.

OK so no lie, this is what my best friend, who was the manager at the Sonic that I used to work for, said to a customer after he used the dreaded line “I’m never eating here again!” Seriously, I don’t know why people bother with that threat. Its not like we WANT you to come back if you’re an awful customer.
